CVE-2026-91853Network attack vector

Remote command execution via unsanitized filetype parameter

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

OS command injection in TOTOLINK X5000R 9.1.0cu.2089_B20211224 allows remote attackers to execute commands via filetype. The exportOvpn function in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi incorporates the attacker-controlled filetype value into an operating-system command without adequate neutralization. The management CGI must be network-reachable; public material does not establish whether authentication is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the web service's privileges.
