Remote code execution via unsafe Kryo deserialization
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Deserialization in OBP-API 1.10.0 through 1.10.1 allows attackers to execute code through attacker-written Redis cache data. Redis.scala passes retrieved cache bytes to KryoInjection.invert without restricting the classes that Kryo can instantiate. Exploitation requires write access to Redis and a subsequent cache read by the server; ordinary HTTP access alone does not reach this operation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
