Stored XSS via forged settings import
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Freshlight Lab WP Mobile Menu before 2.9 allows remote attackers to inject scripts through a forged settings import. The settings import handler fails to verify its request nonce, and imported option values are later output without escaping. An administrator must submit the forged request while authenticated; the resulting script executes when visitors view affected pages.
