Script execution via unescaped survey-import warnings
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Cross-site scripting in LimeSurvey 7.0.14 allows context-dependent attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. Survey-import code incorporates attacker-controlled values from an LSS file into warning messages that the administrative results view displays without safe output encoding. Exploitation requires an administrator with survey-import permission to import the crafted file and view the resulting warnings.
