Credential disclosure via cross-origin redirect header forwarding
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Credential exposure in affected PHP releases allows remote attackers to steal credentials through cross-origin HTTP redirects. The HTTP stream wrapper reuses user-supplied Authorization, Cookie, and Proxy-Authorization headers after a redirect changes the request origin. An application must send those headers through an HTTP stream with redirect following enabled, after which a redirecting server receives the caller's bearer token, session cookie, or proxy credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
