Sandbox memory disclosure via improper Skia state validation
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Improper state validation in Skia in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.47 allows remote attackers to read memory outside the sandbox. Google has not published the Skia state transition or operation that handles crafted HTML incorrectly. Exploitation requires prior renderer-process compromise; the disclosed consequence is an out-of-sandbox memory read, not code execution.
