Sandboxed code execution via compositing type confusion
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Type confusion in Google Chrome Compositing before 153.0.8010.47 allows remote attackers to execute code inside the sandbox. The component confuses object types while processing attacker-controlled page content; Google has not disclosed the affected code path or invalid type operation. A target must load a crafted HTML page, and no sandbox escape or code execution outside the browser sandbox is reported.
