Sandboxed code execution via V8 integer overflow
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Integer overflow in V8 in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.47 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox. Google has not disclosed the affected V8 operation or how crafted HTML causes the integer calculation to overflow. Exploitation requires the browser to process a crafted HTML page, and the reported code execution remains confined to the renderer sandbox.
