Sandbox escape via Auth use after free
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Use after free in Auth in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.47 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox. The Auth component accesses memory after releasing it while processing a crafted HTML page; the affected function and lifetime error are undisclosed. A user must load attacker-controlled HTML, after which successful exploitation escapes Chrome's sandbox and runs code in the browser context.
