CVE-2026-9165Network attack vector

Authenticated service interrupt via unbounded GraphQL depth

Published Jul 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026

Denial of service in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes allows remote authenticated users to exhaust Central via nested GraphQL queries. The Central GraphQL API does not enforce a maximum query depth, so a valid API token can drive deeply recursive field expansion that consumes excessive resources in the management component. Reachability requires access to the authenticated GraphQL endpoint, and the published impact is limited to management-plane availability rather than data read or configuration change.
