Cross-origin data disclosure via invalid input
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Improper input validation in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.179 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data through a crafted HTML page. Google identifies the affected locus only as Input; the restricted issue does not disclose which value receives insufficient validation. Exploitation requires user interaction and prior renderer-process compromise, and the demonstrated consequence is cross-origin data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
