Target impersonation via misbound jump-host keys
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Host-key verification bypass in Warptech Industries Warpgate 0.25.0 through 0.27.5 allows attackers to impersonate browser SSH targets. The WebSSH manager handles each unknown host key without its presenting hop identity and stores the jump host key under the final target address. Exploitation requires a permitted browser session with a jump host and control of that host's key plus the target path, enabling interception of traffic and certificate authentication.
