File disclosure via unchecked share download paths
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Improper access control in ZFile 5.0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers with a share link to read files under its shared base directory. The download endpoint accepts attacker-supplied file-path query parameters without confirming that each requested path belongs to the share link's allowed entries. Possession of a valid share link is required, and exposure is limited to files reachable beneath that share's configured base directory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
