Service crash via use-after-free scene-graph access
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Use-after-free in GPAC f1219cde allows remote attackers to crash MP4Box by supplying a crafted media file for scene-graph processing. The affected path passes an invalid node to gf_node_get_name_and_id, which reads the node private-state flags before checking that the pointer is valid. The target must process attacker-supplied media through a scene-graph operation that reaches the affected function.
