CVE-2026-91088Hinoki check available

Heap-based buffer overflow via unchecked empty URL

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Heap-based buffer overflow in GPAC through f1219cde allows local users to trigger an out-of-bounds access via crafted URL input. gf_url_concatenate_ex trims trailing whitespace from a heap string but indexes strlen(tmp)-1 without first checking whether the string has become empty. Local control of input reaching URL concatenation is required; the published record does not specify consequences beyond memory corruption.
