Heap-based buffer overflow in GPAC through f1219cde allows remote attackers to crash MP4Box via a crafted MPEG Part-2 video. The mpgviddmx_process function reads three start-code bytes from a packet without first ensuring that the packet contains three bytes. Exploitation requires the untrusted video to reach the MPEG Video Reframer during import; the demonstrated result is an out-of-bounds read and process termination.
