Stored XSS via user-meta media URL merge
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Stored XSS in the media field of Redux Framework 4.5.14 and earlier lets remote authenticated users run scripts in viewed admin pages. A media URL repair on the demo panel promotes attacker-controlled user meta into the site-wide redux_demo option without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Subscriber-level access can supply the stored payload, while script execution requires a user to open an affected page.
