Internal resource disclosure via unrestricted PDF image fetch
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Generate PDF using Contact Form 7 before 4.2.2 allows remote attackers to read internal resources. The PDF renderer treats an array-valued submitted form field as an image source and fetches its URL without restricting the destination, then embeds the response in the generated PDF. No account is required; exposure depends on a public Contact Form 7 workflow that generates a retrievable PDF, and impact is limited to resources reachable from the WordPress server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
