Authentication bypass via uncorrelated SAML responses
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Authentication bypass in Casdoor 2.362.0 and earlier allows remote attackers controlling a registered IdP to obtain unauthorized sessions. The /api/acs handler in controllers/auth.go accepts a SAMLResponse without correlating it to a Casdoor-issued AuthnRequest and retains a stale provider snapshot. Unsolicited or replayed responses remain usable across sessions or after the SAML flow ends, enabling persistent user impersonation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
