Authentication bypass via discarded SAML time warnings
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Insufficient SAML assertion expiration in Casdoor 2.362.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain authenticated sessions. ParseSamlResponse() maps RetrieveAssertionInfo() output to a user session without reading WarningInfo, discarding NotBefore and NotOnOrAfter failures. A validly issued assertion outside its allowed time window is required, and reuse grants a session for its subject, including an administrator.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
