Unauthenticated content disclosure via REST access bypass
Published Oct 2, 2026 · Updated Oct 2, 2026
Access-control bypass in Noor Alam WPEPP 2.0.0 through 2.0.6 lets remote attackers read site-restricted posts and pages through the REST API. The plugin's site-wide REST enforcement leaves query-string routes and unverified preview parameters able to bypass access checks. Exposure requires a configured site-wide restriction and reachable WordPress REST endpoints; the disclosed content is limited to material that restriction was meant to hide.
