Unauthenticated account creation via skipped reCAPTCHA verification
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Protection mechanism failure in Cozmoslabs Paid Member Subscriptions before 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to create accounts without reCAPTCHA. The registration handler treats an absent form field as a reason to skip reCAPTCHA verification, then accepts the registration request. The bypass requires reCAPTCHA to be enabled on the exposed registration form, and its demonstrated consequence is account creation.
