Code execution via undersized embedded PNG buffer

Heap-based buffer overflow in GIMP's ICO loader allows remote attackers to execute code or crash GIMP via a crafted ICO file. When an ICO contains an embedded PNG, overflow-prone integer arithmetic produces an undersized decoded-pixel buffer before pixel data is written past its end. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious image; successful memory corruption runs code in the GIMP process, while unsuccessful attempts crash it.
