Remote code execution via hard-coded JWT secret
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Authentication bypass in Crawlab 0 through 0.6.3 allows remote attackers to forge administrator JWTs and execute code on worker nodes. Service initialization in core/user/service_v2.go and core/user/service.go assigns the literal HMAC-SHA256 secret "crawlab", and checkToken accepts signatures made with it. Network access alone is sufficient to impersonate the built-in administrator and run spider scripts across connected worker nodes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
