Session hijacking via unsanitized SVG media upload
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Stored XSS in LaraDashboard 0.9.0 through 1.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through uploaded SVG media. The media upload path stores SVG content without removing script tags, and the application serves the file inline from its own origin. An account with media.create permission can plant the file; execution begins when any user opens it and can expose the viewer's session or enable account takeover.
