CVE-2026-90927Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated denial of service via unbounded WebSocket buffering

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Uncontrolled resource consumption in File Browser 2.0.0 through 2.63.23 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. The /api/command WebSocket handler calls ReadMessage without SetReadLimit and checks EnableExec and Perm.Execute only after buffering the full message. Any authenticated account can exhaust heap memory and make the process unresponsive or terminate it, even when command execution is disabled.
