Credential and restricted-data disclosure via inconsistent CLI authorization
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Improper authorization in MISP 2.5.45 and earlier allows local users to disclose restricted records and stored credentials through its CLI. The interactive shell applies authorization separately from the web application, omitting feed-visibility, host-organization, sharing-group, and record-view checks while returning unredacted feed headers and synchronization authkeys. Local shell access and a MISP user identity are required; disclosure is limited to data reachable through affected CLI list, view, and context commands.
