Database read and write via unvalidated search sorting
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
SQL injection in FilePress 3.0.0 through 3.0.1 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data via crafted search sorting parameters. The Publish Module's dzz/publish/search.php handler places the orderby and order request values into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation can read or modify data available to the application's database account.
