Authenticated command execution via crafted Nmap parameters
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
OS command injection in SabyasachiRana WebMap allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted New Nmap Scan input. The nmap_newscan function in functions_nmap.py incorporates attacker-controlled target and params values into an Nmap command without neutralizing shell syntax. A valid dashboard token and network access to the scan handler are required; commands run with the WebMap container's privileges.
