Local linker crash via malformed merged section

Null pointer dereference in GNU Binutils 2.47 allows local users to crash the linker by processing a malformed merged section. _bfd_write_merged_section in bfd/merge.c dereferences section-merge state derived from the malformed object without first ensuring that the pointer is non-null. A local user must cause ld or another BFD-consuming tool to process the crafted object; the documented consequence is a process crash, not code execution or data modification.
