CVE-2026-9082Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated SQL injection via database abstraction API

Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026

SQL injection in affected Drupal core releases allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through crafted requests. The PostgreSQL database abstraction API fails to sanitize a specially crafted request before incorporating attacker-controlled elements into an SQL query; Drupal has not disclosed the exact faulty method. Anonymous access is sufficient, but only sites using PostgreSQL are exposed; successful attacks can disclose or alter data and can escalate to code execution.
