CVE-2026-90811Public exploitHinoki check available

Out-of-scope file metadata disclosure via wc indirection

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Information disclosure in Cosmic Stack Mercury Agent 1.2.0 and earlier allows local users to read out-of-scope file metadata. PermissionManager.checkShellCommand auto-approves wc commands after checking only literal path tokens, so --files0-from hides an absolute path in a workspace-local list. The caller must reach local tool execution and can learn a readable file's existence, absolute path, line count, word count, and byte count without approval.
