Memory corruption via unchecked cache write length

Buffer overflow in GNU Binutils 2.47 ld allows local users to corrupt process memory via an attacker-controlled nbytes value. The cache_bwrite function in bfd/cache.c processes the supplied write length without adequate bounds validation, causing a write beyond the cache buffer. Exploitation requires local invocation of ld with crafted input; public evidence does not establish code execution or impact beyond the linker process.
