CVE-2026-90693Network attack vector

Remote stack overflow in SetWan3Settings

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

A stack overflow in D-Link DIR-878 120B05 WAN Settings allows remote attackers to disrupt service via crafted Primary or Secondary values. SetWan3Settings copies the Primary and Secondary WAN settings into a stack buffer without adequate bounds checking, allowing attacker-controlled input to overwrite stack memory. The vulnerable request is remotely reachable on the router management interface; exploitation can crash or otherwise interrupt the device, while arbitrary code execution is not established by the available record.
