Resource consumption via crafted Todo request body
Published Sep 13, 2026 · Updated Sep 13, 2026
Resource consumption in evanchiu serverless-todo 1.0.3 and 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to consume service resources via crafted API request bodies. The saveTodos function in src/index.js consumes resources while processing attacker-controlled event.body data, but the precise expensive operation is undisclosed. The API Todo endpoint must be remotely reachable, and the record does not distinguish whether exhaustion causes a hang, crash, or quota failure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
No CVSS assessment is available in this record.
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
