Local process crash via null MFURL cleanup
Published Sep 13, 2026 · Updated Sep 13, 2026
Null pointer dereference in GPAC MP4Box through f1219cde allows local users to crash the process via crafted scene input. The gf_sg_mfurl_del routine in scenegraph/vrml_tools.c dereferences a null member while deleting a parsed MFURL field. An attacker must gain local access and cause MP4Box to process the malformed scene content; the bounded consequence is termination of that MP4Box process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
