Broken access control in Qlik Talend Administration Center 8.0 allows remote authenticated users to modify the Talend Studio update URL. The authorization check for the Studio update URL write accepts the View permission, allowing read-only users to persist a replacement endpoint. An authenticated account with View permission is required; changing the endpoint can make a Talend Studio instance download malicious software.
