Unauthenticated administrator notifications via unchecked stream key
Published Sep 12, 2026 · Updated Sep 12, 2026
Missing authentication in WWBN AVideo at commit c3edcc2 and earlier allows remote attackers to send administrator notifications. The Live plugin's socketMessageLiveOwner.json.php endpoint accepts request key and msg values, resolves the stream owner, and checks the owner's administrator status without authenticating the caller or validating a CSRF token. Exploitation requires the Live plugin and an administrator's stream key; successful requests inject arbitrary in-app or socket messages into that administrator's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
