Script execution via unsanitized tooltip background color
Published Sep 13, 2026 · Updated Sep 13, 2026
Cross-site scripting in FIT2CLOUD DataEase 2.10.0 through 2.10.26 allows remote attackers to execute script through a Symbolic Map tooltip color. The buildTooltip function in symbolic-map.ts inserts canvasViewInfo[*].customAttr.tooltip.backgroundColor into tooltip output without validating or encoding the value. Exploitation requires control of a persisted Symbolic Map configuration and a viewer to render the map; the required application privilege is not published.
