Credential decryption via hard-coded default AES key
Published Sep 13, 2026 · Updated Sep 13, 2026
Use of a hard-coded key in Dromara Orion Visor 2.5.0 through 2.5.7 allows attackers to decrypt stored host credentials. HostKeyServiceImpl passes SSH keys and passphrases to AES helpers configured with the same public fallback key when SECRET_KEY is unset. Exploitation requires access to database ciphertext or a backup, after which private keys and passwords can grant direct access to managed hosts.
