System crash via prematurely published LVCMDQ
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
A race condition in the Linux kernel Tegra241 CMDQV driver allows local users to crash the system when a latched LVCMDQ error fires. tegra241_vintf_init_lvcmdq() publishes a new vcmdq before its command queue is built, allowing the error ISR to pass zeroed queue state to __arm_smmu_cmdq_skip_err(). Triggering requires high-privileged local access, Tegra241 hardware, a latched error, and the narrow initialization window; the resulting NULL register dereference crashes the kernel.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
