Memory leak via misclassified VINTF0 cleanup
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
Memory leakage in the Tegra241 IOMMU driver in Linux 6.12 allows attackers to leave VINTF0 allocated after initialization failures. tegra241_cmdqv_init_structures() loses an unpublished allocation on one error path, while later cleanup mistakes kernel-owned VINTF0 for guest-owned because hyp_own is not initialized yet. These paths require driver initialization on applicable hardware; public sources do not establish an attacker-controlled trigger or a crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
