Reserved GPU-memory overlap via unchecked VM binding
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
Missing range validation in Linux 6.10 Panthor allows local users to map buffer objects into GPU address space reserved for kernel buffers. The panthor_vm_bind_prepare_op_ctx function accepts user-supplied mappings without checking overlap with the kernel buffer-object carve-out. Access requires a Panthor DRM device; upstream has not specified a resulting crash, data disclosure, or privilege escalation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
