CVE-2026-90328Hinoki check available

Information disclosure via unchecked FEATURE-report lengths

Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026

Information disclosure in Linux 4.18's Steam HID driver allows physically proximate attackers to read data via short FEATURE reports. The steam_recv_report function in drivers/hid/hid-steam.c accepts replies without checking that the two-byte header and advertised payload were actually received. The affected driver must process attacker-controlled device reports; SUSE describes disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
