Unauthenticated order cancellation via unchecked order number
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Missing authorization in Corvus Pay CorvusPay WooCommerce Payment Gateway 2.7.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to cancel orders. The /wp-json/corvuspay/cancel/ REST route accepts a caller-supplied order_number value and changes the matching CorvusPay order to canceled without checking caller authorization. No account or user interaction is required; an attacker who obtains or guesses an order number can disrupt fulfillment for that order, without reported data disclosure or site takeover.
