CVE-2026-90219Hinoki check available

Resource leak via incomplete debugfs cleanup

Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026

Resource leakage in Linux Kernel RDMA/cxgb4 allows local users to exhaust kernel resources via failed device registration. The err_dealloc_ctx path calls c4iw_dealloc() without removing the debugfs tree created by c4iw_alloc(), leaving entries attached to a freed c4iw_dev. Exposure requires debugfs support and an RDMA/cxgb4 registration failure; public sources do not establish attacker control over that failure or a specific hang, crash, or reboot outcome.
