Unauthenticated quote manipulation via exposed nonces
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Missing authorization in Easy Invoice 2.2.19 and earlier allows remote attackers to accept or decline any published quote. Public quote templates expose quote-scoped nonces, while unauthenticated AJAX handlers treat each nonce as sufficient authorization and enforce ownership only when an off-by-default Pro restriction is enabled. Any remote attacker who can load a published quote page can alter its status and, under configured acceptance actions, trigger invoice creation and client email.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
