Authenticated stored script execution via unsanitized collage metadata
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Easy Image Collage 1.13.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via collage grid fields. The plugin passes unescaped grid[properties][borderColor] and grid[images][N][attachment_url] values through update_post_meta(), then renders them into pages without output escaping. Author-level access is sufficient because post-meta storage bypasses the unfiltered_html restriction, and the stored script runs in browsers that view the affected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
