Unauthenticated content disclosure via missing publish-status check
Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026
Authorization bypass in Ditty 3.1.65 and earlier allows remote attackers to read non-public Ditty item content through an AJAX request. The init_ajax() handler for ditty_init loads and returns items for an attacker-supplied integer post ID without checking that the requested Ditty has publish status. No authentication is required, and enumerating IDs exposes drafts, pending or scheduled entries, and disabled content withheld from public view.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
