Kernel oops via unchecked representor queue bitmap
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
NULL dereference in Linux 6.15 octeontx2-pf allows local users to trigger a kernel oops via devlink e-switch mode changes. During representor setup, otx2_pool_aq_init() calls test_bit() on af_xdp_zc_qidx even though that queue bitmap is NULL. Exposure requires administrative control of e-switch configuration on affected OcteonTX2 hardware; the documented consequence is a kernel oops, not data disclosure or privilege escalation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
